How to Install Marble/Granite Platform Components

Installation Methods:

1. Screw Locking Fixing Method

• Drill 1cm deep holes at the four corners of the countertop and insert plastic plugs.

• Drill corresponding holes on the support frame, then fix it by screwing from the bottom up.

• Install shock-proof silicone pads or reinforcing rings.

Note: Holes can also be drilled on the crossbeam, and adhesive application is recommended to enhance performance.

Advantages: Excellent overall load-bearing capacity, simple and lightweight appearance, optimal stability, and ensures the countertop does not shake during movement.

2. Bottom Mortise and Tenon (Embedded) Installation Method

• Similar to woodworking mortise and tenon joints, the Marble/Granite edges need to be thickened.

• If there is a significant difference in surface area between the countertop and the frame, processes such as material filling are required.

• This method is mostly suitable for plastic or wooden frames. Iron frames have poor toughness and high hardness, which may cause countertop instability or bottom damage during movement.

3. Bonding Method

• Widen the contact surface of the four-leg support frame at the bottom to increase the contact area.

• Use Marble/Granite-specific adhesives (e.g., Marble/Granite glue) for bonding. This method is commonly used for glass countertops; for Marble/Granite countertops, the bottom needs to be treated by adding a layer of board (wooden material).

Disadvantage: Relatively weak overall load-bearing capacity.

We continue to focus on the processing and manufacturing of granite mechanical components for more than 10 years, widely used in semiconductor, precision manufacturing, medical equipment, aerospace and other fields.
